Music Video First Draft Reflection
After completing the first draft for my music video, there were a number of criteria which became apparent that should be added in or improved upon. First and foremost, there was a distinct lack of contrasting representations between my chosen groups. This is because I filmed the two parts several months apart, and after editing the majority of my music video there was little space to fit in the representation. I will tackle this problem in the final video by using split-screens to layer two videos on top of each other, therefore eliminating the requirement for additional space to place the footage. This will enable me to include far more footage, and in turn this will make the contrasting representations more consistent and make more sense.
Secondly, I want to improve the overall quality and add in more footage that is not included in the first draft. I will do this by editing the video to a higher standard through the use of cuts, crossfades, zooms, and special effects.
